“Mid-Autumn Festival – Giving Love” to poor children vi

On September 23, 2012, the Trade Union of Tinhvan Group organized a charity program called “Mid-Autumn Festival – Giving Love” at the Social Protection Center No. 4 (Tay Dang commune, Ba Vi district, Hanoi). The program iwas joined by Mr. Bui Van Kien, Deputy Director of Communications – Legal issues of Tinhvan Group, Mr. Nguyen Ich Vinh – General Director of along with more than 30 Tinhvaners from Tinhvan Group’s units.

Tinhvaners enjoyed Mid-Autumn Festival with children at Social Protection Center No. 4

On behalf of the Company’s Trade Union, Mr. Bui Van Kien and Mr. Nguyen Ich Vinh gave in person 80 mid-autumn gift sets to the children (each set costs 200,000 VND). Besides, a lot of books, notebooks, school supplies, toys for mid-autumn festival, candies, milks, and clothes, etc donated by Tinhvaners were also sent by the Trade Union of Tinhvan Group to the nurses at the Center for classifying and giving to each suitable child/person.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr Bui Van Kien emphasized: “Over the years, Tinhvan Group has always focused and actively participated in voluntary/charity activities for community. The Mid-Autumn Festival – Giving Love program is held with a view to bringing about a warm and meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival for children who are less fortunate”.

Entertainment show performed by children at the Center

Also in the framework of the program, the children at the Social Protection Center No. 4 also took part in a number of entertainment exchange activity combining with outdoor Team Building program. In the warm guitar music, Tinhvaners and the children sang the “Chiec den ong sao (Star Lantern)” song. This is a special spiritual gift prepared by Tinhvaners to give the children with the hope to warm up with love and share confidence so that they will not stop hoping for a better future.

Ms. Pham Thi Bich Ngoc, Deputy Director of the Social Protection Center No. 4, was moved and said: “Currently we are bringing up two babies abandoned at birth, more than 60 homeless children, at the age of from 4 to 18, as well as the elderly who are lonely and have nobody to lean on. The children here are living in lack of parental love and desperately in need of care and encouragement from departments and organizations in the society. On behalf of the Center, my sincerely thanks to all the staff working at Tinhvan Group for their care as well as for organizing the early Mid-Autumn Festival which is very cozy and meaningful to us”.
