On November 16, in Bac Ninh City, the Ministry of Information and Communications and People’s Committee of Bac Ninh Province have cooperated to organize the Conference of “A 5-year summary of the execution of Decree No. 64/2007/ND-CP dated April 10, 2007 of the Government on information technology application in state agencies’ operations under Decree No. 102/2009/ND-CP”. Tinh Van Software Solution and System Integration One Member Liability Limited Company (Tinhvan Solutions) is the main and only sponsor for this Conference.

Attending the Conference were the Deputy Minister of Information and Communications – Mr. Nguyen Minh Hong; Head of the National Information Technology Application Administration Department; Representatives of the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Planning and Investment; comrade Nguyen Tien Nhuong, Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Deputy Chairman of Bac Ninh Province People’s Committee and management of departments:  Information and Communications, Planning and Investment, Finance, Internal Affairs, Offices of People’s Committees of 25 provinces/cities in the North.

In his opening speech, the Deputy Minister of Information and Communications – Mr. Nguyen Minh Hong highly appraised the results after 5 years of executing Decree No. 64/2007/ND – CP and the good response to IT application needs of national and local agencies to contribute to enhance the efficiency of state management in all fields. He emphasized that IT is a continuously developing field with the nature of rapidly changing technologies; therefore, it is very important to evaluate the performance of the Decree to work out new solutions, proposals and measures to promote the application of IT in state agencies in upcoming time.
