On October 10th 2011, Tinhvan’s Branch in Hochiminhcity jubilantly celebrated 10-year-old birthday at Vuon Pho restaurant. In the ceremony, TVHCM members together with Tinhvan Group leaders together looked back 10 years of establishement and development.
Present at the birthday party were Tinhvan Group leaders: (Mr) Nguyen Quan Son – Deputy General Director of Finance,(Mr) Nguyen Khanh Hoan – Deputy Chairman of Tinhvan Group cum the first chief representative of TVHCM, (Mr) Phan Quang Minh – Deputy General Director of Tinhvan Group’s Communications together with Tinhvan’s leaders in Hochiminh city: (Mr) Phan Hao Hiep – Director of TV HCM, (Mr) Lu Thi Nhu Phuong – chief representative of Tinhvan’s Consulting in Hochiminh city.
The party left a deep impression and emotion for participants. TV HCM members could not keep their emotions when Phan Hao Hiep reviewed the development stages of the branch: “10 years is not a long time for a branch. I personally think that this is a milestone for us to look back and feel proud of what we have done for over 10 years”.
On October 10th 2001, the representative office of Tinhvan was officially established at Ngo Van Nam with a small and neat structure but aquadate departments. The office was put into operation by the chief representative – (Mr) Nguyen Khanh Hoan and the first enthusiastic employees. Only 2 months after the establishment, the first contract of supplying library management software was signed with the Second Region Petrolium Company, after that was the contract with Dalat University and following potential customers, marking a promising Southern market.
These first moves opened and created the momentum for the later development of TV HCM. Besides expanding the business scale, the customers’ list continuously lengthens with pretisgious names like Unilever Vietnam, Hochiminh city People’s Committee, Hochiminh city General Science Library, Security University. Over the 10 years of operation and development, TV HCM constantly received IT pretisgious awards like: 3-year consecutive Communications – IT award of Hochiminh city People’s Committee; the gold medal for sotware products and TOP 5 ICT awarded many times by Hochiminh city’s Informatics Association.
10 years have passed but everything is just vivid like yesterday: from the small alley Ngo Van Nam to No 6 Bau Cat 1, from the representative office to Tinhvan’s HCM branch; from 3, 4 employees to 50 young and active employees now.
Over the 10 years of operation and development, TV HCM has always fulfilled its most important objective: generating profit even in the toughest periods of the market. Tinhvan HCM has grown a lot and gained many achievements and always been a leading unit in both revenue and profit throughout the whole Tinhvan Group.
