On December 19th, representatives of Tester and Quality Management of TinhVan Group attended the workshop on “Technology Quality Assurance SMAC” (SMAC Quality Conference 2014) was held in Hoa Lac Hi-Tech park, Ha Noi.
Beside Tinh Van, many well-known enterprises such as FPT Software, FPT IS, VMWare, NEOPOST, Viettel, TELSOFT, VinCorp … also assigned their representative to attend the workshop. As the first large-scale workshop in technology testing S.M.A.C (Social – Mobile – Analytics – Cloud) in Vietnam, the workshop brings together technology experts; programming engineers and solution / service software quality test engineers (Tester) in Vietnam to share and discuss issues related to quality testing, solution / service running on the S.M.A.C technology; the difference between quality testing solutions / services running on S.M.A.C technology and the traditional ones.

Mr. Modolo Jerome – NEOPOST Software Community Director, one of the main speakers of the seminar, said: “SMAC and SMACT (Social, Mobile, Analytics, Cloud, Internet of Things) are expanding rapidly according to the report of IDG and Gartner. However, SMAC technology testing is still in early development stages and the vendor currently only conduct step by step by using the available resources and they gradually transfer to the appropriate services meeting the demand of the customers. In addition, current testing tools usually focus on individual solution for mobile test, server or AP … it is rare for a tool providing a complete platform to serve the testing of the entire SMAC system. This is an opportunity for young Vietnamese people to solve the problem by their knowledge, wisdom and creativity”.
With so many solutions / services running on the SMAC technology, the workshop on SMAC testing has important implications for Tinhvan as well as leading Information Technology companies in Vietnam. After the seminar, it is hopeful that Tinhvan will have the new orientation which is effective in SMAC testing to make the product more accessible to communities.
